British Columbia Protected Areas Research Forum (BCPARF) brings together researchers, advocates, managers, and community members who create, share, and use research and knowledge to benefit parks and protected areas in British Columbia.

BCPARF has hosted conferences every 2-3 years since 2006. Our policy is to rotate the conference around the province alternating years between the lower mainland/Victoria and a regional location. We try and host conferences at a University actively involved in research in protected areas so we can attract new participants each time. 2022 will be our 7th conference!!
