This primer is intended to be a resource for decision-makers, politicians, journalists, and others who want to be more informed about research and the importance of incorporating research evidence into decision-making for park management.
Explore how social capital and boundary spanning can support collaboration and innovation in parks and protected areas. The goal is to understand the value of relationships and the importance of actively nurturing them.
Explore diversity, equity and inclusion in Canadian parks by focusing on Black people as they are the least likely to visit nature places, including national and provincial parks. The goal is to explore ways of making parks more welcoming for Black Canadians, and by extension other people of colour.
