Apply transformative leadership to complex park leadership issues and co-create a supportive pan-Canadian leadership community across jurisdictions.
This eight-month applied leadership program, modified during the COVID-19 pandemic to a virtual format, begins with a two-week eResidency with guest presenters, breakout workshops, and service-learning projects mixed with independent real-world tasks to explore concepts in your own landscape.
Participants will complete pre- and post-tasks, present cases from their organization, and develop a team capstone project aimed at advancing parks leadership. Each program focuses on core leadership themes with different sub-themes explored in the context of different regions. The sub-theme for Winter 2021 is leading through climate change, with a spotlight on parks in the Canadian Rockies.
