Y2Y’s Dr. Devin Holterman will present on The Human Dimensions of Conservation in the Yellowstone to Yukon Region at Canadian Parks Collective for Innovation and Leadership’s second pan-Canadian Parks and Protected Areas Research eSummit on Feb. 23, 2022.

This presentation will provide an overview of a joint Y2Y and UNBC project that looks to build an evidence-based research program in the human dimensions of conservation. This work supports conservation decision-making by Y2Y and its many partners.

Equal parts presentation and conversation, the session will facilitate discussion focused on the existing social science research and knowledge gaps throughout the Yellowstone to Yukon region and exchange ideas on how to integrate the social sciences into conservation programming and practice.
