CPCIL Webinar on 2020 Canadian Parks Collective Opportunities
In 2018, the Canadian Parks Council, in collaboration with Mount Royal University’s Institute for Environmental Sustainability and affiliates Royal Roads University, York University Faculty of Environmental Studies, and Université de Moncton, launched a pan-Canadian program to support the development of effective and equitable park leadership. One year in, this Canadian Parks Collective for Innovation and Leadership (CPCIL) has revealed many opportunities to connect an inclusive community of parks and protected areas professionals.
This informal webinar introduced CPCIL programs such as the Park Leaders Development Program–held twice annually in locations across the country–and the applied solo and capstone projects created by park professionals and emerging leaders from agencies across the country.
Find out about the growing Training and Resources Inventory, 1stThursday Webinars, pan-Canadian Park Mentorship Program, Student Opportunities and the Park Research Network.
