Project WILD & Below Zero Workshop

Are you looking for ways to take your learning outdoors this winter? Join us for an interactive workshop as we explore ways to engage youth in learning about the environment through a series for cross-curricular activities, games and lessons plans!
The workshop will be facilitated by Rob Ridley, a leader in outdoor and environmental education.
This is a 2-part online workshop
- Part 1 – Tuesday, January 11, 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET
- Part 2 – Thursday, January 13, 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET
Note: A small amount of preparation time will also be required between sessions.
Once registered, you will be sent links to join these online sessions and copies of the activity guides will be mailed to you at the address you provided. Please note that workshop materials can only be shipped to Canadian addresses.

Project WILD and Below Zero are interactive educational guides designed to promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of wildlife, habitat, and natural resources.
Throughout this online workshop, you will get a chance to participate in interdisciplinary activities that incorporate nature-based learning into a variety of subjects, including:

As part of the workshop you will receive 6 hours of instruction and your own copies of the Project WILD and Below Zero activity guides, filled with a combined total of almost 200 lesson plans!
Tech Requirements
Don’t worry about having to sit in front of a screen! There will be opportunities for movement, hands-on activities and collaboration!
- You will need access to a computer or laptop equipped with sound and video, as well as a reliable internet connection.
