Job Description

To apply a project management approach to cross departmental project planning.
To provide consultative and hands-on support to Directors in their departmental planning by helping them structure their projects, campaigns, operations, and recurring activities in the Team Gantt platform.
To coach and guide Directors on how they can define the activities, processes, and deliverables to be included in their planning along with their duration, dependencies, resource assignments and due dates.
Profile

 

This individual reports to the Chief Revenue Officer / Executive Director and works directly with CWF Directors.

The individual we are looking for will have the following skills and experience:

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ease with technology and online project management platforms (Team Gantt)
Structured and organized, with a proven approach to implementing project management
Ability to coordinate work across multiple departments
Ability to adapt to the varying skill sets of Directors with regards to project management practices
Business skills to understand each department’s operations
End-user training abilities
Advisory skills to guide Directors on how to use Team Gantt to structure their department’s operations as projects with deliverables
Project management skills to map out the change management phases from discovery and kick-off to resource management and implementation
Experience

Business project management background
Experience in project management
Experience in providing basic user-end training (general) and on project management platforms (a plus)
At least 2 years’ experience in a project management role

Work Conditions

Location: Head Office in Ottawa, ON
Term length: Fixed-term to 5 months
Manual dexterity required to operate computer and peripherals.
Interacts with employees, and various management levels.
Repetitive work.
