The Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park is New Brunswick’s most popular natural tourist attraction and one of Canada’s great natural wonders. Located on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tidal range in the world, we strive to provide safe and inclusive opportunities to be in nature, inspire wellness, enjoyment, and education for all.

Hundreds of thousands of guests including film crews, writers, photographers, and scientists from all over the world come to walk the ocean floor, marvel at the sea stacks and enjoy this amazing tidal phenomenon.

What You Will Do

As member of the Hopewell Rocks team, the successful candidate will be an Ambassador for NB Parks. You will be responsible for:

Providing prompt, efficient, and professional customer service
Sharing facts and stories about the site including the tidal phenomenon, the history, geology, flora and fauna and legends
Responding to inquiries related to the site and area in general
Assisting in training and integration of new employees
Keeping a clean work area
Performing other related duties as required
Work Environment

Working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working outdoors; rain or shine
Working amongst a supportive team

Who you are

You are approachable, helpful, have a positive attitude and enjoy making heartfelt person to person connections while striving to exceed our guest’s expectations.

You love the outdoors and are physically fit and able to walk many kilometers every day
You are outgoing and willing to learn the many facets of our site
You have good communication skills and can share information with our guests in an accurate, concise, and engaging manner
Need to have

Completion of grade 10
Knowledge and or/ability to share facts about the Hopewell Rocks with visitors
A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Nice to have

Possession of a valid Emergency First Aid/CPR certificate
Experience in the retail industry and/or the tourism industry
Background in science
Wage

$22.72 per hour
