On November 8th, 2021, the Parks Canada Agency announced the details of its vaccination requirement for all employees.

We’re looking for someone to keep building Wood Buffalo National Park as a place where both locals and tourists want to be. As a Product Developer, you’ll be part of the Visitor Experience team. We work together to strategically improve what we already offer, develop new ways for people to get to know the park and the people who live here, and make sure everyone feels welcome in Wood Buffalo National Park.

Intent of the process
We intend to hire someone as a full-time indeterminate employee at Wood Buffalo National Park.

We will also use this process to create a list of qualified candidates at the PM-03 group and level. We may use this list to fill permanent or temporary positions at Parks Canada. These positions may have various security levels, language requirements, and duration.

Degree equivalency

Experience
E1: Experience developing and evaluating tourism-related products. These could include recreational activities, interpretive exhibits and programs, overnight accommodations, trails, and/or special events.
E2: Experience writing and editing exhibits, signs, publications, and/or web content.
E3: Experience collaborating with staff and partners;
E4: Experience planning and completing projects.

Operational Requirements
• Willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform when required.
