I have been a Park Warden with Parks Canada since 2005, and before that worked as a Park Ranger with BC Parks for 5 years prior to that. My experience with parks and protected area management has also included work overseas with grass-roots NGOs to help re-establish Indigenous rights in a National Park in Indonesia. I also worked for a land claims implementation NGO in northern Canada to represent local community interests and make recommendations to various levels of government (First Nation, Federal, and Territorial), including as part of a Co-operative Management partner in the management of a National Park. I currently live in Haines Junction, Yukon with my wife, daughter, 2 dogs and a cat.
