I am new in a management role with Department of Lands and Forestry, Parks and Outreach Division.  I have been employed in government for 20+ years and held roles as fisheries technician, fisheries biologist, sportfish development officer, and branch planning and development officer.  I grew up in North Lake, New Brunswick and travelled to Halifax to attend Dalhousie University.  Nova Scotia has a large number of provincial parks (200+) and trails and I manage the provincial program team based in Truro NS.   I work with a small team of 10 staff.  We have different operational models and a large seasonal workforce.
