You are strongly encouraged to work with the program facilitator to develop your presentation topic, approach, and drafts. The final version must be submitted one week prior to the eResidency, and you will need to practice delivering the presentation in advance.

When Downloading, please ensure file size is less than 150Mb. PechaKucha decks are usually 50-100Mb

Finding Photos:

We recommend you use photos from your Agency or program area in order to share your context with other members of the cohort.

If you wish to also use stock photos, we recommend you begin with the links on the UBC Copyright resource page

Reducing file size in PowerPoint:

In PowerPoint, select the image and then:

  1. Click on “Picture Format”
  2. Select “Compress Pictures”
  3. Set compression to “On-screen” + “Delete cropped areas of pictures” + “Apply to All pictures in this file
  4. Save the file with the new settings
